DRAFT STRATEGY
Take a look at what happened to the Bucs in their wildcard playoff loss to the New York Giants.
They took a 7-0 lead, the defense was dominant before Eli Manning picked apart the secondary and linebackers for two quick scores. Joey Galloway was ineffective due to a shoulder injury and the Bucs' offense was exposed for its lack of playmakers.
So coach Jon Gruden wants to upgrade the team's speed on offense, particularly at wide receiver.
Tampa Bay also has a need for a young cornerback, especially after Brian Kelly bought out the final year of his contract before signing with the Detroit Lions as a free agent.
The Bucs own five draft picks—one in each of the first five rounds.
