Robert Porcher sentenced to community service |

Former Detroit Lions defensive end Robert Porcher has been sentenced to 50 hours of community service for an assault on his ex-wife.
Porcher also was given one year probation and ordered Monday to have no contact with Kimberly Porcher except through text messages or e-mail.
The 38-year-old plead no contest to the charge in the Bloomfield Township, Mich., court following his arrest in December on a misdemeanor assault and battery charge.
