Jaguars sign OL Liwienski, waive QB Smith (AP) |

The Jaguars signed free agent guard Chris Liwienski on Thursday and waived quarterback Paul Smith. Liwienski gives Jacksonville extra depth along the offensive line following the loss of center Brad Meester, who is out indefinitely after injuring his right biceps. Liwienski started 14 games at left guard for Miami last season.
