And then there were three.
That's the number of restricted free agents remaining for the Indianapolis Colts after the team announced Friday that safety Matt Giordano had agreed to a new deal.
Giordano, a fourth-round draft pick in 2005, has proven to be a valuable backup at both strong and free safety for Indianapolis. He has also become a key performer on special teams for the Colts over the past three seasons.
The former University of California standout has started five games during his NFL career, filling in primarily for strong safety Bob Sanders.
