With few receivers expected to be first-round worthy in this year's draft, the Denver Broncos loaded up on veteran free-agent receivers.
Carolina's Keary Colbert was signed in March. Within two weeks of the draft, Samie Parker and Darrell Jackson were added, which should make an interesting competition for the starting spot opposite Brandon Marshall.
Denver released Javon Walker this offseason and believes Brandon Stokley is best fit as the third receiver. Colbert and Parker have shown some flashes in their NFL careers, but the interesting wild card in the mix is Jackson.
Jackson was a top receiver for a few years with Seattle, but has dealt with some knee issues and is coming off a lackluster season in San Francisco.
