DRAFT STRATEGY
Bill Parcells and the Miami Cowboys have the No. 1 pick.
But its Parcells' former team that is the linchpin to the entire 2008 NFL Draft.
With two first-round picks, owner Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys are in the proverbial catbird seat.
They could play the role of dealer or could sit tight and address their needs at receiver, running back or cornerback with picks No. 22 and No. 28.
Although the low first-round picks don't seem to be the pick of the litter, Jones said the best value in the draft in the bottom 10 picks of the first round because of the quality of players on the board and the relative low contracts assigned to those picks.
"The ammo, or the consideration to do some of those things are there," Jones said.
