Panthers sign free-agent S Terrence Holt (AP) |

The Carolina Panthers signed safety Terrence Holt, a former North Carolina State star, to a one-year contract on Thursday. Holt, the younger brother of St. Louis Rams receiver Torry Holt, started all 16 games for Arizona last season, and had 75 tackles, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. But Holt did not have an interception and was released on Feb.
