Panthers release injured DT Scott; sign Bailey (AP) |

The Carolina Panthers released injured defensive tackle Ian Scott and signed receiver Sean Bailey on Wednesday. Scott, who signed in the offseason to provide depth after Carolina traded three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kris Jenkins to the New York Jets, sprained his left knee on the fifth day of training camp.
